Johanna Rantanen

Johanna heads Dottir’s Tech & IP practice and serves as Chair of the Board. She is also one of the founders of the firm.

She has nearly 15 years of experience advising clients on both technology law and corporate transactions. Her practice covers private equity transactions and venture financing as well as technology and commercial agreements, technology procurement and outsourcing, software and IP licensing, privacy and data matters, and technology regulation.

Johanna regularly advises corporations and public sector organisations in complex technology procurements and other strategic technology projects, while also acting for technology companies and investors. Her combination of transactional and technology expertise makes her a trusted advisor to technology- and IP-intensive businesses as well as venture capital investors.

She is also a member of Dottir’s Venture Capital and Growth Companies focus team.
