Katja is a versatile M&A professional with several years of experience in advising on various international and domestic mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other corporate law matters with a focus on cross boarder M&A.
Katja is a certified board member (HHJ) and acts regularly as the secretary of Boards of Directors and advises public and private companies on corporate governance. She also advices on venture capital investments and capital markets transactions.

Lumo Analytics
Dottir advised the shareholders of Lumo Analytics on the sale of the company to GeologicAI.
Lumo Analytics Oy is a technology company that provides advanced laser-based drill core scanning and analysis solutions for the mineral exploration and mining industry. Using innovative LIBS-based technology, the company delivers near real-time geological data that enables geologists and mining professionals to make faster, more accurate decisions, improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
GeologicAI is the global leader in High-Resolution Decision Engineering for the critical minerals sector. The acquisition by GeologicAI marks a significant milestone in Lumo Analytics’ growth, supporting continued product development, expanded sensor integration and the advancement of decision-modeling solutions for global mining operations.
Beijer Tech
Dottir advised Beijer Tech in its acquisition of a majority stake in Clara Nordic Oy, the owner of Ewona Finland Oy – a Finnish manufacturer of acoustic and insulation products known for its Ewona and Insuplast brands.
Beijer Tech, a subsidiary of Beijer Alma, strengthens its Niche Technologies business area and gains access to a growing market focused on acoustic comfort and sustainable materials. Ewona’s certified, allergy-friendly products and strong reputation in Finland complement Beijer Tech’s strategy of acquiring profitable niche companies with high value-add and growth potential. The acquisition also supports Beijer Alma’s long-term ambition to expand its presence in the Nordic manufacturing industry through value-creating partnerships.

Melkki Partners Oy
Dottir advised the shareholders of Melkki on the sale of the company to Midagon.

Nordic Power Service Oy
Dottir advised the shareholders of Nordic Power Service Oy in the sale of the company to Ernströmgruppen AB.
Nordic Power Service specializes in the installation and maintenance of recovery and power boilers used in the energy and process industries, and had a turnover of 24 million euros last year. Ernströmgruppen is a Nordic, family-owned industrial group with a business concept centered on owning and developing entrepreneur-driven niche companies.
Through the acquisition, Ernströmgruppen strengthens its Flow Technology business area, supporting its ambition to deliver sustainable, energy-efficient solutions and positioning Nordic Power Service for continued growth in a market with increasing demand.
Oddlygood
Oddlygood, a Nordic leader in plant-based foods, has acquired the pioneering British plant-based company, Rude Health. Dottir advised Oddlygood throughout the process.

Kapacity.io
Kapacity.io, a European leader in heat pump optimization and flexibility, has been acquired by EnergyHub, North America's leading provider of residential flexibility solutions. Dottir advised Kapacity.io throughout the process.

Documill Oy
Dottir advised the shareholders of Documill Oy on the sale of the company to UK-based Ascendx Cloud Ltd.

Dottir advised the shareholders of Suomen Avustajapalvelut in a transaction in which funds managed by Verso Capital Oy and Armada Credit Partners are investing in Suomen Avustajapalvelut, alongside the company's founders. In the same context, CapMan Growth exits its role as the largest shareholder and makes a small reinvestment in the company.

Beijer Alma AB (publ)
Dottir advised the international industrial group Beijer Alma AB in its acquisition of AVS Power Oy, a leading Finnish technical wholesaler and manufacturer of pneumatics, industrial valves and compressors.
In the transaction, Beijer Alma’s subsidiary Beijer Tech acquired 100 percent of the shares in AVS Power Oy. As a part of the transaction, operational assets transferred to AVS Power Oy from the previous parent company AVS-Yhtiöt Oy. Through the acquisition, Beijer Tech strengthens its position in the Finnish market.
Beijer Alma AB is an international industrial group focused on component manufacturing and industrial trading. The Group includes; Lesjöfors, one of Europe’s largest spring manufacturer and Beijer Tech, which holds strong positions in the Nordic industrial trading- and manufacturing markets. Beijer Alma is listed on the Nasdaq OMX Stockholm Mid Cap list.
Lumoa
Dottir acted as counsel for Lumoa (Lumoame Oy) in their acquisition by Netigate.

Dottir advised sole shareholder of e-ville.com in the acquisition of the company by Verkkokauppa.com Oyj. E-ville is an online store headquartered in Finland with operations in China. The acquisition is the first in the history of Verkkokauppa.com. The acquisition supports Verkkokauppa.com's strategy to strengthen and expand its assortment in own brands. With the acquisition, Verkkokauppa.com will get e-ville’s experienced sourcing organization operating in Shenzhen, China and Hong Kong.
CapMan Growth
Nordic growth investor CapMan Growth invests in and becomes minority owner of Cloud2, the leading multi-cloud house in Finland. Helsinki-based Cloud2 is focused on developing and managing cloud environments. They hold broad expertise and challenge the markets with a bold straightforward approach.

Warner Music Finland
Dottir advised Warner Music Finland in its acquisition of the record label business of The Fried Music, the iconic Finnish label founded by Jukka Immonen. Following the acquisition, The Fried Music's artists will join Warner Music's roster and Jukka Immonen will be appointed as Warner's new Head of A&R, effective January 1, 2024.
Warner Music Finland is the largest music entertainment company in Finland and operates across recorded music, music publishing, and artist services.
Ruokaboksi Oy
Dottir advised Ruokaboksi Oy in their EUR 3.5 million funding round. The round was led by Nordic Foodtech VC and participated by Suomen Teollisuussijoitus Oy as well as certain existing shareholders.
Ruokaboksi offers recipes along with fresh ingredients for several meals delivered to your door. Their goal is to make everyday cooking easy and effortless while reducing food waste and supporting domestic food production.
Ruokaboksi will use the funding to develop the content and selection of its products and also to expand its operations to international market.
