Tatu Oikarinen

Tatu holds close to two decades of experience assisting domestic and international companies in complex commercial and criminal disputes in both Finnish and English. He has extensive experience representing clients in public courts, pre-trial investigations, and arbitration proceedings, as well as other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR).​

Tatu regularly assists clients in matters relating to, for example, a wide range of commercial agreements (such as financial leasing agreements, infrastructure agreements, and agreements in the real estate and energy sectors), damages, insolvency, as well as criminal matters in corporate environments. He also has particular expertise in interim measure proceedings in high-stakes matters. In addition, Tatu is a mediator accredited by the Finnish Bar Association.​

Prior to joining Dottir, Tatu worked at several leading law firms and organisations in Helsinki. He has also completed judicial training at the District Court of Päijät-Häme, providing him with first-hand insight into court proceedings and effective litigation strategy.​
